Aww, I don’t want to eat my vegetables

Some folks on Phase One have difficulty eating vegetables which makes their choices somewhat limited within the already limited Phase One food choices.  Here are some tips we’ve collected:

Try them!  This may sound basic, but members have shared with us that during Phase One they taste foods differently and enjoy foods that they previously haven’t liked before.  So when you are making “Caleb’s Crock of Cluck” on pg. 33 or “Rachel’s Rosemary Roast” on pg. 47, add tons of celery and onions and TASTE THEM.  You might surprise yourself.

Find something you like and eat it!   One of our members loves pickles and she has been eating them, alot of them.

Make a huge batch of “Juiced Up Spaghetti Sauce” pg. 39 along with “Great Balls of Beef” pg. 38!  You can’t go wrong with spaghetti sauce and meatballs.  Have a 3 spoons of sauce to every meatball. Watch our YouTube Video demonstrating making this delicious meal. It starts out with Adam’s Awesome Applesauce and then shows the sauce and meatballs.

Rediscover salsa!  Even though there are peppers in salsa, we have found most brands to be compatible with Phase One.  We know personally that Mild Salsa from Aldi works great.  Two easy meals that I have used alot involves putting a package of chicken breast or beef roast in a crock pot with a jar of salsa and cook on low all day.  The juices of the meat combine with the salsa and it is, mmm, mouth watering delicious.  Empty the crockpot of the broth and measure out your 4 oz. of meat.  My mouth is watering just typing this.  Just a minute, I’ve got to get dinner going…

Give onions a try!  You would be amazed how delicious onions are caramelized in water and seasoned.  Wow.  I cut up 5-8 onions at a time and caramelize them all, them I use them as a bed for my “Non-Crabby Patty” pg. 28 or “Chili Chow Down” pg. 22. They are delicious and filling.

Try each recipe in “Fresh, Full and Free” at least once!  Again, you may be surprised and what you like.

Be creative!  Some of our members make a vegetable soup up with cabbage, celery, onions, etc, and seasoning and then take an emersion blender to it and create a really thick stock to have available to fill them up as necessary.

Is there such a thing a good bacteria?

You bet there is!  Our body is full of them.  Good bacteria and bad bacteria.  The ratio should be about 25% bad and 75% good. Burn baby burn

You’ve just made it through Phase One!  You are down 23 pounds!  Your knees don’t hurt like they did before!  You actually feel like becoming more active!  Phase Two is the perfect time to start incorporating exercise into your lifestyle now.  Be sure and consult your physician or personal trainer to determine what protocol would be best for you to follow.  There are two basic types of exercising.  Strength training (building muscle) and cardio (elevating the heart rate for cardiovascular fitness).  Experts agree that cardiovascular health is important for over improved quality of life.

Water, water, water

Make sure you are drinking the correct amount of water!  Not enough and your weight may stall or you may get more side effects.  Too much water and you are diluting your electrolytes and may cause muscle cramping or other serious problems.  You should be drinking half of your body weight in  ounces every single day.  As you release weight, you decrease your water.  So a 200 pound person needs to be drinking about 12.5  8-oz servings.

Some fellow TeamDau Wellness Weight Release members shared what methods work for them:

  • Drink water at room temperature- goes down fast and easy.
  • Drink water with a straw.  You get tons more kind of not realizing it.
  • Fill a gallon jug with the amount of water you need for the day and take it to work and fill your glass from it throughout the day.
  • Drink 2 8-oz servings before leaving the house. 2 on the way to work, 2 servings between arrival and lunch, 2 at lunch, etc.
  • Drink your portions by 7pm so you are not up all night.
  • Drink good quality water or your body may not be able to assimilate the hydrating effects of water.  Watch a video about a great system.  The system is also available in a sports bottle form.

Yes you will be going to bathroom frequently!  Every time you go, SMILE AND SAY:  “I’m peeing out the fat! I’m peeing out the fat!”  :-) ( not loudly of course.)

Respite for the Phase One slip ups

Not that I am saying you do.  But IF you have cheated on Phase One, you probably put back on the fat you worked so hard to burn, and probably put it on way quicker than it came back off.

We KNOW that Phase One is challenging.  Some people cheat, some people don’t.  Some people can resist temptation, some people can’t.  Some people have an accommodating schedule and some people have business luncheons and family parties and inflexible date books.  Up until now, we have likened this program to God:  forgiving and merciful but also just.  If you cheat, you may not release weight and may even gain, but if you get right back on the proven protocol, you immediately begin to release again.  Well, we still liken it to God, as we have been blessed with some tools that make mercy even more evident than before.

Enter Boresha.  Tom and I were introduced to these products a month ago and have been researching and experimenting on your behalf, as your beloved guinea pigs. These are the results we have found so far and are so excited, we have to share them!  In a nut shell, drinking a NuvoGene Tea by Boresha for each meal that I cheat, slows down weight gain, sometimes negates it and can even allow a little fat burning, even with a slip up, or conscious cheat.

I (Vicki) have been on the drops for the last month, my 7th or 8th cycle.  I did not cheat at all on my first cycle. Just once in my second cycle and I cannot tell you after that.  I can tell you that I have struggled this cycle.  Over and over, however, I started drinking a NuvoGene Tea when I cheated and some days, I ONLY gained a little, like .5 or 1lb, which I normally would have gained 4 lbs overnight. WOW.  I even had days that I still released weight even when I cheated a tiny bit. I also tried the Bskinny Latte and dropped 3 lbs overnight on day 32!  Which we know that after about 29 days, weight release slows down. I also discovered that I am drinking less diet pop as the NuvoGene Tea is tropical fruit flavored and very delicious.  And it is extending the weight release from my usual 28 days to 40!

So here is the TeamDau Wellness Phase One/Boresha protocol:  Take your drops every morning, but IF you cheat, not that I am advocating it or anything… drink a NuvoGene Tea, Bskinny Latte or Bskinny Coffee once or twice day.  Continue drinking your appropriate amount of water for Phase One. Do not take your drops after you have cheated. So you may only be taking drops once a day on days that you cheated.

Here’s the other thing that is wonderful.  The NuvoGene Tea targets the gene that is linked to obesity.  Remember that Dr. Simeon’s talked about obesity being an inherited disorder?  The NuvoGene Tea addresses and targets the root problem.  And we are burning the abnormal fat.

Why do we need Phase One at all then?  Because the hypothalamus needs to be reprogrammed!  Only the HCG drops and phase one protocol have been proven to do that.

Can Stress make you FAT?

You bet!  There are tons of the medically technical terms to explain why stress is a contributing factor in weight gain.  We have found that to be the case time after time with the members of our TeamDau Wellness Weight Release Program as well.  When we are under stress, especially day after day, our body produces cortisol which tends to deposit fat around the midsection.  But also under that stress the hypothalamus, diencephalon, or “fat regulator” seems to go out of whack.  You see, the hypothalamus is also in charge of the autonomic functions of the body like blood pressure and breathing.  Well, if our blood pressure is constantly elevated and breathing rapid, it seems to put excess stress on the gland and the first function that seems to go is the fat regulation.  It will take fat in, but not let it go. Hence, the locked away, stored fat. Most weight loss programs have you regulating food intake and exercising, which is great in theory, but they don’t address the defunked fat regulator, not fixing the root of the fat storage issue.  Dr. Simeon’s found the answer back in the 20′s and we are blessed to be experiencing the benefits of his work today in our Weight Release Program.   Our members release 1/2 lb. to 1 lb. of fat per day PLUS, because we are using the drops, gain the benefit of  reprogramming the hypothalamus to properly regulate the fat.  Energy in, energy out.  The way it was supposed to be, before all that darned stress. Transitioning from Phase One to Phase Two

After you’ve released fat in Phase One, it can be a relief or even scary to move into Phase Two. While the food choices may be greater, many of our members “freak out” a bit with their new freedom. “I don’t want to go back to my old habits, but I am afraid with all the food choices.” “I don’t want to put any of the weight back on! How do I eat now?”

Take a deep breath, smile and believe that this is another step on your journey to your ideal created weight.
- Keep similar portions in Phase Two as you did in Phase One. Your plate should be filled similarly, but with a greater variety of food.
-Make the recipes in our Fresh, Full & Free Cookbook but use the Phase Two modifications. Enjoy cheese, nuts, other meats and all the fruit and vegetable varieties.
-Pay attention to your hunger and fullness. If you undereat at a meal, you will be hungry sooner than if you overate. By consuming the drops in Phase One, your hypothalamus is being reprogrammed to function normally allowing proper fat regulation. You eat fuel, you burn fuel.

-Use the Steak and Apple Tool if you gain more than 2 lbs of weight gain during Phase Two or Phase Three.  Refer to your Phase Two overview sheet that you got in your Packet.

You are on your way to making great choices for a lifetime of enjoying your ideal created weight.

Lost my respect for CBN

Well, I just heard them most uneducated, ridiculous report to date about the HCG diet. UGH! and from the 700 Club. Totally inaccurate and biased. Wow. My family sat there listening and shaking our heads. “What will they think of next?” was one reporter’s comment. “Making a body to a pregnant state is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. Don’t do this. Just get back to the basics folks.” came out of the mouth of Pat Robertson. OMG- THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY UNEDUCATED AND STUPID. THEY OBVIOUSLY DON’T GET THE SCIENCE OF IT! Why isn’t the country doing what he claims to be the easy answer?? Why is 65% of adults overweight? and of those, 35% are obese? Robertson’s coancher told everyone to “just eat what God gave us out of the ground and be done with it.” If it was so easy lady, why isn’t everyone doing that? — Because there is a physical disfunction in the hypothalamus that needs to be corrected with the drops and we are also eating the good food that the Lord gave us. Oh that is so pathetic of a report, makes me question the credibility of all of their reporting. I am thinking the 700 club isn’t worth 2 cents!
